Everything that we heard about Freshwater cottages from people who insisted that we had to visit was true…and it was even better than expected!! The entire experience from start to finish was wonderful. I look forward to going back for future visits with my family because the reactions to all the animals while feeding them was priceless…it is truly an incredible experience!!
Fabulous farm stay with family. Such a unique experience with the farm animals and excellent friendly and informative farmers. Our 2 year old twins loved feeding the sheep directly from our garden. The cottage was a good size and well equipped but very rustic as was the outside area.
Freshwater Creek Cottages was such a lovely stay, we truly enjoyed our time there staying at The Lodge. Their staff were very responsive and prompt to messages. There is so much to do there! Like they said, if it's sunny, you definitely have to spend the time outdoors exploring the farm. We interacted with so many farm animals and the children had such a blast with the farm tour on the tractor and also the playground. Since we were staying at the lodge, we could feed the cows right in front of our cottage. It was really fun! Thank you again for the wonderful stay.
This is the 3rd consecutive year we have stayed at Freshwater Creek cottages, and we hope to continue coming for many years. We went with our whole family, consisting of 10 adults and 11 children, aged 18 months to 92 years, and we all love it. The kids have the time of their lives, they love the freedom of running around the farm, feeding the animals, and just spending a few days in a very different environment. It's also a great location for day trips in the area.
Amazing farm stay! There is so many things for kids to do, a full playground, haybales to climb on, swings, bikes and kid size ride on tractors! The animals are super friendly, and kids can almost roam free going around to all the different animals. Farmer Dave and Annaleis were super friendly and made our stay even more memorable!
